1 or 2 year Foundation Taoist T’ai Chi (FTT) course.

THE LIGHT BEING INTENSIVE ONE

The FTT course is based on the principles of the 15 Rainbow T’ai-Chi Chi Kung Exercises and Principles. Unlike other Taoist and T’ai-Chi schools, which focus on the mastery of technique but do not fully address the development of the student, this course trains the student to use T’ai-Chi Chi Kung as a mirror for self development. By mastering the 15 Rainbow T’ai-Chi Chi Kung Exercises and Principles, the student achieve a total sense of personal clarity and acceptance, and then, with wisdom and skill and sensitivity, extends the wisdom of his or her experience to others. FTT graduates will also have mastered Part 1 of the Yang style T’ai-Chi Form.

1 year Trilogue Intensive.

The Trilogue Process is a powerful system for initiating and sustaining personal transformation based on the inner communication between the Yin/feminine (receptive, mother) principle, Yang/masculine (emmissive, father) principle and the creative Tao (union, child) principle. It emerged from Peter Choy’s research into the therapeutic value of T’ai Chi, his studies at the Option Institute, Massachusetts, USA and his understanding of the Thanking Process.

Question - What is the connection between

TAI-CHI, CHI HEALING AND

FUSION OF THE 5 ELEMENTS?

“In any action, the whole person (heart, body, mind and spirit) is light and agile, all parts connected like PEARLS on a thread. The Chi is respected, cultivated and conserved internally in the ORGANS and not needlessly exposed. Tai-Chi roots the chi in the feet, it develops in the legs, is directed by the waist and functions through the fingers.

When Tai-Chi is connected to Chi Healing, a person can achieve greater health and vitality .......when advancing or retreating, you can use any negative oncoming force, inside or outside the body, to reinforce your creative/healing intentions....to rise higher in your consciousness, you must penetrate to lower depths to study your root belief systems and sever those that promote self-doubt and fear. With sufficient patience and time, the student can use self-destructive tendencies as catalysts for creative personal transformation”. Page 141, “37 Steps to Happiness”

FEEDBACK FROM 2004 FUSION OF 5 ELEMENTS INTENSIVE PARTICIPANTS

“The Fusion of the 5 Elements Course has been a beautiful and powerful journey of discovery. My relationship with my inner organs has been totally transformed. My practice of Zhineng Chi Kung, and the fundamentals, has moved to a different level. My appreciation of the elements of nature, the nature spirits and the spirits of my organs has come into being and grown. I now have a relationship with a new being within me - a being I have felt and looked for for all my life. Instead of sometimes glimpsing and experiencing it, the being and I now live life together, day-by-day, cherishing and nurturing it as a mother does her child.

It feels as if Choy has taught this course many, or at least several times before. The balance, tuning in, the flowing nature of it, and moving each step when I and the other students were ready, has meant that I have benefited from it to a maximum degree. The energy of the Centre, being in nature both here and during trips, have been important and helpful. Also very important have been the other people on the course, who have shared deeply, and together been ready and able to dive into the course and the energy.

I feel very grateful to Choy, to Christine for also being a part of the flowing, healing, nurturing nature of the Centre, and to Per, Diana, David and Carol. The chi 'healing week', and the fresh input of Liz, Caroline and Fiona was also very important, and to see how the energy of the F5E affected them. The world is truly in a time of great turmoil and con-fusion. People have lost contact with their centres, with their inner wisdom. I resonate a lot with the morphic resonance nature of the course. I feel moved to help address some of the problems in the world, but the balance of inner transformation and growth must come first. The Fusion process clarifies, deepens, strengthens my own inner balance and healing, to make what I do outside - whether in Chechnya, Russia or locally, so much more effective. And this is just the beginning.

I love so much being in the peace and energy. To appreciate and be with the Silent Ones. Thank you. And thank you for everyone at the school. I look forward now to taking this tool for transformation and living it, being it. Fulfilling the purpose of my life - to be the light that I have experienced here.

Chris Hunter, Zhineng Chi Kung Graduate

"I came to the Fusion of the 5 Elements without any idea of what we would be doing, without expectations except the expectation that I would be pursuing the best possible path for myself, for my own inner development, with the best teacher I know. Thank you Choy for manifesting this course at this time: I felt ready for it. The course has been stunning, tough a times, hugely rewarding, great fun. challenging at a very deep level and so illuminating. I have struggled with myself, visiting painful times, painful emotions, physical pain yet I came through smiling -1 had the inner tools supported by your wise guidance Choy. Thank you for taking care and supporting me when I needed it. I also appreciate the times when you pushed some of my buttons or got me to rummage through my own dirty laundry - yes. it is also very pleasant to find out that I do not have so many dirty clothes lying about inside these days! The effect on my being has been profound, in fact I realise that I will not understand how much I have changed until I go back into the outside world' again, back to my teaching, my healing work, my family and friends - there I will know the profundity of this work - well. I do know the profundity: it's the evidence of that change in myself that I have yet to see manifest in the wider world. In that respect I have seen how my colleagues on this course have been changing - physically looking younger, more vibrant, more peaceful, more content and radiant - they are also happier and smiling more. I assume I am too! I do feel all these things inside. I have been in contact with Sue very regularly on the phone and I noticed immediately the transformation in our communications - everything has been clearer, deeper, lighter - in fact, on many occasions she cannot believe what I am saying when I agree with this, or that or suggest ways of doing things, etc.. - she said the other night - "I can't believe how much you have changed - you would never have said that a month ago." To me. the new me feels very natural, as if I've been here all the time. I have been here all the time, just waiting patiently to come out. In my Tai-Chi. ZCK practice the effects have been dramatic. I realised from the 2nd week that suddenly my shoulders were loose - at last!! Now I understand how they really can be free - arms like ropes on the end of my shoulders -1 literally marvelled at them –I still do; I got so much joy just from swinging them in the 1st FTC - yes, I've gone back to basics with such sincere appreciation. This new freedom and the increased level of chi has spread through all my exercises -1 now understand so much more of how they can be expressed by my body - my whole being. This was so marked at the weekend, late afternoon on the beach in Cornwall -1 was like a transformed person - the whole quality of the chi was dramatically different again; like a huge shift in level - gone, was the tingling, encompassing chi feelings of the past, here was an all consuming, gentle, fineness that was just there, with me - it was me. I truly began to really feel the meaning of effortless - yes, there was no effort, I found that all I had to do is use my consciousness and the physical body followed. I realised then and there that I had the power, now, to arrange my life, my world as I wanted to. In one of my meditations I discovered this inner power -1 was invincible at that point - in my power.

Thank you Choy, Thank you to my fellow travellers, thank you Light Being, thank you new baby Pearl -1 will look after and cherish you."

With great love and respect,

David Ellis, FTT Graduate and ZCK Graduate

"Firstly, I would like to say the course has been amazing – much more than I ever thought possible, both in terms of the depths I have gone inside my organs and myself, and in the wisdom that I feel so privileged to have been given, spending a whole month at the Centre is by far the best way to do this course. Firstly you are in nature all the time - at the Centre you can really el all the elements around you very strongly and you are also very close to beautiful places on Dartmoor, or at the sea. Secondly you are immersed fully in the course - in this case the Fusion. Day and night you live, breathe. walk and eat the Fusion process. Your organs are always being thought about, felt, spoken to, examined and loved. It was the first thing I did  every morning when I woke - even before I opened my eyes I would check in with my organs - and later on my beautiful Pearl baby as well.

Thirdly - there are no distractions, no TV. no cinema, no pub. etc.. and you can be totally focussed. And finally the fantastic group energy. So energetic, so compatible and yet so different, so supportive - a wonderful experience.  A wonderful chance get to really know the others in a very deep and loving way. There was also plenty of time to have personal space, to go for walks, to be quiet and meditative and still, both in the beautiful areas at the Centre and also going out on our free days - no thoughts of shopping at Trago Mills or Totnes!! Just wanting to be with and in Nature, building the relationship between the elements and the organs.

I thought the teaching was excellent, thank you Choy for allowing me to share this beautiful process.   Thank you for all your ard work, for being so caring and supportive. The teaching was clear, well-planned and well presented. I really enjoyed everything. well perhaps not the cafe experience! But even that turned out to be fun after the initial fear! I loved doing the Colour science drawings of my organs - it was a very intense experience and now every time I focus on my organs they sparkle, smile and twinkle and send me so much love my heart fills to bursting with happiness.

The course has also enhanced my personal Fundamental Tai Chi and Chi Kung practices. Now when I practice I feel in another dimension, much more connected to my Light Being - well of course, now I have being No 9 with me.   And as my ands pass over each organ during my practice they tingle and there is a ZING -1 can almost hear the chi there.

Thank you Christine for helping me with my back problems and for your wonderful massages and support - and thank you for making the garden look so wonderful.

I have something very precious to take home with me - a priceless PEARL - no money could buy that - a very precious pearl I fill always look after. Thank you Choy very much."

Carol Adam. FTT Graduate

"This has been the most amazing month in my life. I have been on many courses earlier Findhorn and other places) and felt very high and happy and thought that it would last forever. But it didn't. The negative selves came back. The feeling after this course is quite different. I don't feel "high", I just feel happy, and the happiness is there because I feel the connection to the pearl inside me. Yesterday the group had a session together doing the Fusion and then sharing with each other. Diana said she was so happy to be with so many integrated people. And I thought: "Yes for the first time in my life I feel really integrated. I would also like to mention what I said during the chi-healing week that I had let go of the 'Yes-but' Self. It happened actually at the very beginning of the course. In that letting go process I let go into being a Tai Chi student. I was slowly more and more humble and discovered that the more I just followed the instructions and worked with my inner selves the more energy I got. This feeling of being a student was also very much clarified by the river when you talked about being our teacher and teacher only. It actually made me feel happy. This new humbleness has been the base of my change. The beautiful thing is that I get the feedback from the outside. When Gunn-Berit appreciated my total change I laughed and said: "You know what? I didn't try to change - it just happened effortlessly." A friend of hers said that I looked 10 years younger. You talked about a new being that has been born inside. It is real to me and my gratitude is limitless. When Chris asked you how often we have to practise I thought "How often do you take care of this chi-baby inside?" That is my new journey - to take care of my baby and watch it grow. Not once or twice a day, but every single moment. Thank you Choy for an unforgettable month and also thanks to Diana, Carol, Chris and David."

"Hello Brightness my old Friend,

I've come to be with you again.

And the Light that I was seeking,

came to me when I stopped sleeping.

And the feeling I'll never be the same will remain - in the sounds of Silence."

[to the tune of Simon & Garfunkle song "The Sound of Silence"]

"I have had a truly amazing time here. I loved the intensity of the focus, the commitment to the work, the lack of distraction, the unity of purpose in the group.  I loved the connection to creativity through the drawings and the colour, and the poems/appreciation letters.   I loved deepening my connection to the Nature Elements.  I loved the deep sense of sharing, support and love in the group.

One of my biggest challenges is to acknowledge and value the strengths and gifts I already have, my intuition, my sensitivities to energy, my trust in the chi.  I am beginning to feel all this consolidating.  I see  more clearly than I ever have before how my energy is being drained away in relationships - and - as we discussed - by living in London.  I have really benefited from taking time "out" from this , being supported and guided when the challenges were there, and being able to dive "in" and just Be here..

The most precious thing is this deeper sense of myself in my environment. On Sunday for the first time I saw light like a shower of rain in the top of the Eucalyptus tree, surrounded by violet/indigo (I used to see this "shower" often in the shade beneath trees). Yesterday I went to the wood and saw violet haze in the crowns of the hazelnut tree and the ash tree for the first time.   I melted into respect for the sacredness of those special places in the woods in a deeper way than ever before and felt the trees' presences. Walking along, following intuition is such a rich but extremely simple experience now.  I feel changed.   My connection with Earth is immeasurably deepened - I feel very blessed.

My Zhineng Chi Kung practice I've let go of in the last few days, but I've been noticing it becoming more and more fluid and connected in one-ness with earth and sky - more and more like it was in the crop circle, in fact. I feel more peaceful.  I feel more able to connect with my Light Being through the simple words "Be Peaceful" "Let it come to you".  I feel the gentleness, softness and receptivity of allowing chi/Light Being/wisdom to come to me if I'm open and patient, rather than struggling mentally.  I feel such a Beginner in connection with creating the Pearl, but the collection/recycling/refinement process is a fantastic and wonderful tool.  During the FTT early on in 1 996/7 we were practicing FTC 4 and meditating on the personality/selves on the outside of the wheel and what is the Essence at the Centre.  I had the image then of my Centre being a pink pearl - softly emanating light -that has stayed with me ever since. There is now a strong sense of homecoming and familiarity increasing and getting to know the Pearl and to tune into its presence.   I am excited about the possibilities for the future especially about being simple and clear about what I want and how I want to be in my life - especially to stop waiting, but to work every day towards living more soulfully - whatever/whoever I have to give up in order to do so. This feels an absolute priority.  I feel now I have a very rich and abundant toolbox to work with my emotional and physical health - particularly the fibroids and all the issues connected with that.  I feel I have no other choice but to keep reclaiming myself in my purity and essence. There are steps I need to take in my relationships with the children, with James, with Terry, with my students, and I am much clearer about taking them.

Thank you for all your initiatives and hard work for us.   With deepest gratitude,

Diana Wackerbarth, FTT Graduate and ZCK Teacher Trainee
