“Reading my book to the group I felt supported—it was a privilege to share it with the group— the beautiful and moving feedback I have had from people about my book has been both humbling and given me a clear sense of respect for myself—for the effort I have put into my training and I feel proud of my openness to share the personal experience in my life from my heart.  I am awe-struck by the multi-dimensional learning which happens here.   Thank you Choy, Christine, Sweetie, Beloved for your compassion and selfless service”.

Fiona Howard, Summer 2007

FTT & F3T Graduate Teacher,

author of ‘Goodbye ME, Hello me!’

Heart beat listening, looking for the pauses between breath are helping me to slow down, relax, come back to me.  THANK YOU FOR HELPING ME SEE IT IS OK TO FEEL AND NOT TO SUPRESS.  I have a hunger to learn and never realised I was looking for a teacher to help me help myself.  I feel humbled because I have so much to learn and unlearn.  The security and support I am coming to feel here is also helping  me to open and flower.

Aisling King, Ireland, Summer 2007

The most inspiring insight in this workshop was the experience of limitless chi flowing in silence. When this chi flowed to my heart I experienced a love I have never known before.

This Course is open to everyone including beginners and weekly class / weekend workshop students who wish to deepen their study and applications of the 15 Fundamental Tai-Chi Chi Kung Exercises and Principles and Chi Self-healing abilities. They remind us that we can  slow down and relax into the Life Force rhythms within and around  us and be in  harmony with another human being, the flower, the wind , the earth and  our daily life. This can be a Holiday Learning Experience of a lifetime - the journey to find your natural energy of Health and Happiness. When you slow down to feel this Chi Energy, you know that it is real and continues even after the workshop finishes. The only prerequisite for joining is your eagerness and humility to learn….and your sense of SELF-HUMOUR!"

I have learnt the art of letting go, to ‘swim’ in the chi/with the chi, to be more balanced and focussed/grounded.  I learnt to listen.  I realised that it is alright to love myself as I am.  I have been taught for many years that other people are more important than me.  I feel like a small flower just emerging from the ground with its face pointing to the sun light!  Thank you Choy for your wonderful inspiring and humorous sessions.  I will remember them with joy in my heart.  Thank you Christine for the wonderful food you’ve so kindly grown.  The love and chi it was grown with tasted of bliss!

'Ever since I was a child, I felt that everyone had Happy Light Beings within them even if they were unaware of it. When I started learning Tai-Chi Form in my teens I found  a philosophy and set of exercises that showed me how to apply this self-awareness in daily life.  I also saw that people who found true happiness and health were like 'stars' that lit up their  and people's lives. I  am a Tai-Chi teacher who has already helped  more than  70,000 people find happiness. You will find this Light Being in the Joy of Meditation in Motion. The programme balances you  through the  seriousness  and fun of  learning Tai-Chi  Form and the Zhineng Chi  Healing Exercises and Principles. Zhang Bo Duan in the 11th Century wrote, 'When Yin and Yang unite, the Tigress and Dragon  (within you) embrace in a  Tai-Chi Dance of Ecstasy!!  Qualitum is a term I invented.  Before Quantum Physics, we need to understand the QUALITATIVE  SCIENCE OF PHYSICAL PHENOMENA. ALL LIFE NEED JOYOUS CHI !'   Choyous Choy

While Part One provides the basic foundation of the 15 Fundamental Tai-Chi Chi Kung Exercises, Part Two takes you into The Tai-Chi Form, translated as the 'RIVER OF CHI  which flows unceasingly INTO THE SEA OF CHI (Tan-tien)!'. You need to have completed Part One Summer School to go on to Part Two. Each sequence of The 37 Steps Yang Style Form/Principles mirrors your journey in life. Learning ON LAND AND IN WATER, this Course will introduce you to Parts 1, 2, 3 and 4 of the whole Tai-Chi Form. You will also be introduced to Zhineng Chi Kung, literarily translated as 'Cosmic Chi Kung' was started by Dr Pang Li of China.  It is a Health and Relaxation system of exercises practiced by more than 10 million people in China alone and has helped heal more than 100,000 people. In the presence of trained medical doctors, each practitioner is respected as a student and not a patient. The Rainbow Tai-Chi Form practice in this Course will enable participants to channel these wonderful energies to help everyone feel healthier, more balanced, happier and more energized.

SAMPLE FEEDBACK

FROM 2007 SUMMER SCHOOL

PARTS 1 AND 2

I am learning to be at peace with stillness, especially by looking to and meditating in nature.  The flowers remind me that wu-chi is in nature and can be safe.  This is allowing me to unfold.  I am beginning to see the amazing depth of some of the fundamentals and the Summer School has increased my depth of understanding.  Pablo Toledo

The real me can invite and commune with love...that I can be a catalyst for love...that I need to use this catalyst to come away from my mind and negative selves and put my heart first consistently.  To use my own love to melt myself.  During the goodbye without words, I felt such a variety of things—I felt peoples’ hearts were different colours, different rhythms, different brightness, different warmth and shapes—the world seemed fuller and brighter and more surprising and happy and exciting.  My heart felt like it was breaking and being healed at the same time.   Charlotta Le Broque

I have had the chance to look more deeply in lots of aspects of life and nature instead of drifting along on the surface.  Throughout the whole of the time, seeing the people who have been healed, the compassion which has been shown, the whole time has been so inspiring, the dedication throughout has been really the most inspiring.

Billi Reeman, 70 years young

The time I connected to a single blade of grass—two beings united—I learned so much.  Choy and Christine, thank you for all the wonderful moments, especially :  the sand shower on the beach, the wind and rain in the valley, the delicious food, the water in the pool, the chanting, all your preparations, the new campers shed, wonderful hot showers, amazing energy in the school, picnic on the beach, playing under the parachute, Tao games, Sweetie, Love, Light, Chi, Thank you!

Pam Marsden

Practising the ‘wheel turning’ partner exercise by the river as a couple gave me the insight that the steps I was taking were too big.  When I adjusted the size of my steps we flowed in a different and beautiful rhythm as one rather than 2.  It was such a simple thing—to just adjust my steps!  Practical and down to earth...shows so clearly aspects of our flow together to help me understand the dynamics of our relationship in a Tai Chi way, for me is a very valuable tool.  Fiona Howard

When me and Sophie did the Tai Chi Form together at the river it was the most gentle and beautiful experience. I realised as I humbled myself how lovely the energy can be. I also realised at the Sharing night how unique and amazing each individual was. When people are just themselves the world is a brighter more energetic place. Mike Toye

I love the Tai Chi Form leading to the first Single Whip sequence. The leading from the heart to peace and contentment and being able to be both, and feel grounded and assertive at the same time being sensitive and grateful.  Gunn-Berit Kleiveland

I made some profound connections with water during this workshop  -  the session in the pool was truly electrifying and I BECOME THE WATER. The time at the river was a flowing dance of Yin and Yang energies for me, and to sit silently on the bank, watching the river as a burnished metal surface, with a blue green damsel fly on each leg, was absolute perfection!  Linda Schofield
