LETTER OF THE MONTH

19 INTO 1 DOES GO

JULY 2010

19 Knives, 19 Forks and 19 Spoons too.

19 Plates and 19 Bowls, That’s a lot of Nettle Soup!

19 Finer Silky Beings I could never hope to meet.

All gathered in a single space with TaiSho on their feet!

Listening to The Master’s voice, receiving wisely words,

Slowly, slowly spiralling, the energy it stirs.

Grounding with our Tan-Tien in the Aqua T’ai-Chi Pool;

Trusting in our partners to never let us fall.

Searching for the feeling and that Primal Scream within.

Letting go of so much stuff – into the compost bin.

Moving on and learning of the Yin, Yang and Wu Chi,

Learning not to Think or Do but simply just to Be.

Sitting by the pond, in pain as parts of us go numb.

Master Choy reminds us not to take stones with our bum!

Lying in the garden with the Whole World at our feet.

Kneeling on top of Mother Earth feels really kind of neat!

One decides to leave us but the energy grows more.

Could that be the 4th Dimension knocking at the door?

Cocooned in loving silence and we sit and watch the screen.

Wondering between us what does all these Light Beings mean?

Floating, floating on our backs away to Inner Space.

Radiant Smiles, the Inner Child appears upon our face.

Grounded once again, we root our feet within The Dart.

T’ai-Chi Push Hands giving and receiving from the Heart.

Sharing our experiences, and shedding all those tears,

Learning to accept ourselves, and letting go the fears.

 So soon, we’re drawing to a close, though some are staying on;

The energy will shift again when some of us are gone.

A heartfelt wish is that these Silky Beings will stay in touch.

And I would like to say to all, “Thank You, so, so much”.

Dear Master Choy,

I am very happy because Tai-chi can be applied so much to our everyday life. I was playing piano today and I was there enjoying myself without criticism (this was very hard before) and even when this critic was coming up I was ok because I know that I am so much more than this critic and judge. I think the laughter that I had thanks to you has helped me o let go with calmness some tough sides of me and I am practicing more and more in trusting Marianna, in opening up and searching for my own truth.
Thank you again!

Lots of warm chi to you and Christine

Dear Choy and Christine,

I was thrilled to receive the information about the JOY OF TAI CHI AND HEALING FOODS Course from 19-21 March. This is my application to join the course.  My work with Choy remains the Light on My Life Path and illuminating the shadows of the selves which are me!

In the spiritual books which I read, the courses I do, and in my daily life, Choy’s teachings form the explanations and the underpinnings of the wonderful unfolding of the chi energy and all that is.

I often find myself explaining and repeating events in the way they were explained and reflected to me by Choy.

The work at the School certainly gave me thousands of paths to a happier me, and the years have been blessed with infinite abundance, as I am loved and supported with perfect care by all that surrounds me!

The winter has been challenging cold and icy, and I would love to re-connect with unfolding and bursting Spring Energy at the Rainbow Tai Chi School!

I hope my application is accepted.

With love, light and blessings,

Lynne Clement

The day for me has been about opening yourself to fresh ways of thinking.  I learnt about how Tai Chi was started and learnt to be more fluid in how you react to life’s trials.  Robert Peacock

A warm, welcoming, calm day.  I have never done Tai Chi before and have learnt the principles (a little) - I felt it so calming first and then a little energising—a lovely feeling.  The lunch was delicious.  Thank you for today, I will take it with me.  Rosie

I was unsure what to expect but I found that the exercises were quite relaxing but at the same time tiring.  I definitely felt an energy, a force in my hands.  I feel I have gained an insight into another way of learning and it is something I would like to learn more of.  John Fuller

I liked the greenhouses in the gardens.  I learnt Tai Chi is translated as the river of energy and Yang means positive and Yin is the negative.  And you have to have an even balance of both to be healthy.  I liked the vegetable soup and salad.  Emma

The environs immediately imposed upon one that it was a very peaceful place.  Once the course started you felt as though an ever pleasant instruction was taking its course.  Peter was very informative and friendly during the sessions. Although I didn't seem to be getting any great benefit from the outset, as the day progressed I felt more peaceful within myself.  I was never bored and things kept rolling alone nice. Both Peter and his staff were very amiable and accommodating.  A very pleasant day indeed!  I might come back someday.  Thank you.  John P

An educational and enlightening experience.  Relaxing, soothing and peaceful.  A delicious lunch with wonderful soup enjoyed in convivial company.  Highly recommended.  Would love to come again.  Best wishes to all involved  Bob K

Very enjoyable day, warm, relaxing, calming, fun, enlightening. I shall take so much away for me, how to bend and move but stay grounded. Many, many thanks.  Shirley

Today has been one truly enlightening experience.  Being able to engage in the Tai Chi and start to learn what it is about.  I found practising the Tai Chi was very relaxing and I felt the energy around my body.  Lunch was wonderful sharing the food from your garden with everyone.  The healing I had received for my circulation and varicose veins was a new experience for me, which left me with less pain and a feeling of warmth in the thigh area.  Yielding in the garden was great with  more practice needed on my part.  I really feel I have enjoyed today and would love to know more about Tai Chi.  Thank you Peter and Christine for inviting us to your Rainbow Centre.  Linda Sillifant
