I loved the EARTH BALL: it was a privileged opportunity to play, be light, hug and love the LOVING EARTH herself.  I love Mother Earth and THANK HER in ABUNDANCE for all her abundance!   Frances Powell,  Summer School  2008

The Earth Ball was amazing.  I lost myself in joy.  I melted into the wonderful group energy and lost all my self-consciousness.

" Dave talked about a rebirth and enjoying butterflies and flowers in a way that he hadn’t done before.  This resonated with me because I now realise that my life has become mechanical and that I have become numbed to nature and my surroundings.  This week my outlook on life, people and problems has been turned completely upside down, but I have found Choy to be very inspiring and he has really opened my eyes to possibilities".    Eamonn King

'Ever since I was a child, I felt that everyone had Happy Light Beings within them even if they were unaware of it. When I started learning Tai-Chi Form in my teens I found  a philosophy and set of exercises that showed me how to apply this  HAPPY SELF –AWARENESS in  my daily life.  I also saw that people who found true happiness and health were like 'stars' that lit up their  and people's lives. I  am a Tai-Chi teacher who has already helped  more than  70,000 people find happiness. You will find this Light Being in the Joy of Meditation in Motion. The programme balances you  through the  seriousness  and fun of  learning Tai-Chi  Form and the Zhineng Chi  Healing Exercises and Principles. Zhang Bo Duan in the 11th Century wrote, 'When Yin and Yang unite, the Tigress and Dragon  (within you) embrace in a  Tai-Chi Dance of Ecstasy!!     Choyous Choy

While Part One provides the basic foundation of the 15 Fundamental Tai-Chi Chi Kung Exercises, Part Two is based on the 37 Steps to Happiness book. Tai Chi is translated as the 'RIVER OF CHI which flows unceasingly INTO THE SEA OF CHI (Tan-tien)'. You need to have completed Part One Summer School to go on to Part Two. Each sequence of The 37 Steps Yang Style Form/Principles mirrors your journey in life. Learning ON LAND AND IN WATER, this Course will introduce you to Parts 1, 2, 3 and 4 of the whole Tai-Chi Form. You will also be introduced to Zhineng Chi Kung, literarily translated as 'Cosmic Chi Kung' was started by Dr Pang Li of China.  It is a Health and Relaxation system of exercises practiced by more than 10 million people in China alone and has helped heal more than 100,000 people. In the presence of trained medical doctors, each practitioner is respected as a student and not a patient. The Rainbow Tai-Chi Form practice in this Course will enable participants to channel these wonderful energies to help everyone feel healthier, more balanced, happier and more energized.

FEEDBACK FROM 2008 SUMMER SCHOOL PARTS 1 & 2

The session we had the day after the beach came at a perfect time for me.  My thinker was coming in and causing me to feel a confused sadness but thank you Choy for taking the time to teach us about our mind and the false realities it creates.   The sharing among the group helped me enormously.  Dave inspired me with his gentle humility and made me want to find this in myself.  Eamonn(my husband) opening up and blossoming has been a huge gift also.  I think that he’s waking up to something he has been looking for foryears, maybe since he was a child.  Thank you!  My way of dealing with anger has changed.  The teaching I got from Choy in our joint session literally opened my mind and set me free.  I have more power because I am not wrapping myself up in bitterness towards an individual.    Aisling King

Going to the River Dart—I learnt much from nature, I learnt a new appreciation.  I listened to the trees, birds,I felt the flow of the water on my legs.  I thanked them all and went inside myself—my inner family to forgive myself and to appreciate.  Joanne Chad

The poem from Dave was probably one of the finest gifts I have ever received and Dave has really been an inspiration to me not to give up on myself.   I feel that this course has made me realise even more than before that I need and want to really learn tai-chi.  I feel that I just know that this is what I must do.  John Grimstad

Thank you Choy for an amazing time.  So much have you put into your teaching.  It has been the calibre of an Intensive.  I so appreciate your wisdom, inner strength and caring.  Thank you Christine for all you do, for all your love especially the love you tend your garden with such care.  It is felt when I eat your lovely, delicious recipes.  Your recipes have all been so delicious, simplicity in their construction with the utmost in flavour.  Yummeeee.  Pam Marsden

Floating in the pool allowed me to melt even more into trusting being held by another person, to melt into the water and melt into the warm, loving pool of light and chi.  Frances Powell

Sharing about the pain I felt losing my father with the group—slowly realising that there is a new father, needing to let go of the old projections and make friends with the Wu-Chi.  I feel also my courage to share my letters help consolidate my learning and free myself and my father.  Sophie Toye

During the floating experience, on one occasion I was back in the warm, soft darkness and was aware of presences nearby.  They were dark too but I could see them and came to understand that to see in the darkness there must be a light source and as none was around felt that the only place that this could be coming from was me.  This realisation felt that I had always known but had forgotten somewhere within my busy life.  Gradually a light appeared on the horizon.  A light so bright that I should not have been able to look at it, a billion suns of brightness.  I could look at it though and felt that like the mother and baby who share the same body fluids without causing each other harm, that I was a child of the light too and was coming back to Mother Light.  My heartfelt thanks to you Choy for leading me home.  Libby Morrison

FEEDBACK FROM 2009 SUMMER SCHOOL

Having learnt tai chi with the ‘mind’ for 4 years, to be able to learn with the heart, completely changed it for me.  Also experiencing it in water where I heard music—voices chanting-took it on a new plane or a new dimension. Julie Popham

The teaching was incredible and inspiring highlights were practising Tai Chi Form in the water, being in the Jacuzzi, the connection with the Zhineng Chi Kung both on the beach and throughout the week.  Working with Rich in Tai Chi push hands and floating so we could learn our individual lessons through the energy of our relationship together. Fiona Howard

Inspiring highlights are all the fun we shared in the sessions, my inner child loved the lightness.  The fun with the games on the beach—passing balls to each other like holding and sharing golden balls of chi energy. Thank you most beautiful star Christine for the love and care you have put into all you do, especially the amazing, delicious meals you put together.  Pamela Marsden

The things I enjoyed most were La Chi-ing Joanne’s caravan and the tents, etc., was amazingly transforming of pain into brilliant fun.  Frances & Christine and my group turning the pizza making into Italian extravaganza and singing!  Putting my head under in the pool was great. The session on the chi and gratitude possible from eating helped grow this appreciative part of me.  It allowed me to put thanks and now first over love of chat, fun and avoidance of wu chi.  It resulted in Thursdays lunch  being a time when food danced with joy and flavour in my mouth and it was the most appreciative I have ever been from eating.  Charlotta Le Brocq

I have let go so much more this week, the floating was amazing.  Thank you both for a fantastic Part 2.  I have learned to much about myself it has been amazing.  Stephen Marsden

The flow of activities and the amazing teaching sessions with Choy together with the wonderful group energy  helped me so much to connect with that part of me that has  been starved for so long.  I really want to wake up and live in the moment and Rainbow Tai Chi is the way to do it.  Aisling King

“ I enjoyed all the activities especially the healing in the water. The healing and practice of holding my kidneys in the garden was so moving that I cried. I loved the philosophy of integrating all the emotional, physical, mental and spiritual parts in such an experiential way. I would like to study the Light Being Intensive subjects with an emphasis on the Form, the harmonising service in our daily lives.”   Josie Maguire
